We now own two houses!

Heironimus Family | Moving

Today we closed on our new house. We are doing some serious cleaning today and tomorrow and we move in Friday. I just spent a couple hours packing boxes in our garage. Beth has done almost everything else, as far a packing.

Monday, we close on our current house. It sold six days after being listed and the buyer want to move in ASAP. It looks like we have a busy weekend ahead.

Luke's Birthday Weekend

Heironimus Family | Luke

This weekend we went to Tribesman Resort to celebrate Luke’s birthday. A great time was had by all. On Luke’s birthday, we got up at 5:00 AM, opened presents, including Super Doggy, Luke’s favorite present, ate apple pancakes made by Dad, read a little bit of Swiss Family Robinson on our deck in the Rain, swam in the indoor pool in the rain, went back to the room and ate lunch, read some Summer with the Moodys, took a nap went fishing (Adam caught a fish and a turtle, while Luke caught a fish), Rachel, Luke, Adam and Dad rode in a paddle boat, hunted for coins with metal detectors, went swimming in the outdoor pool, watched some HGTV shows, grilled some steaks, ate, read some Bible and more Swiss Family Robinson, and went to bed.

Kyle has given me the task of journaling our move. I will begin at the beginning.

Wednesday August 4. Our realtor's assistant,Kathie, e-mailed us a house that I really liked in the afternoon and I asked if we could see it on Friday. She called and said that she would be out of town, but could show it to us that evening. We (Me and my four) loaded up and met Kyle in the Price Cutter parking lot and drove to the house. We met Kathie there at 6 p.m., left the older three in the van listening to a tape and toured the home with John. I loved it immediately. It is not my dream house, but it is too, if that makes any sense. It just felt like home. It was clean, well cared for and very interesting.

Getting Drupal going

I'm messing with Drupal, which is powering this site. It is very powerful, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. Time will tell.

My first attempt at CMS usage

I just installed a CMS (content management software) package called Drupal. Let's see how it goes!
